"We stayed in one of the beach villas and what a great surprise that was . Annie and Mel were very welcoming and the accommodation exceeded our expectations. Our villa was well equipped and just a short stroll to the beach . We would highly recommend Sandcastles1770. The restaurant was an added bonus with friendly staff and great food."

"We walked into our studio room as nd you can smell the cleanliness. It had everything you need. Even the kitchen sink. You could eat in if you wanted to. Microwave, eating utensils chopping board everything modern. Location was great. Walk to the beach shops and tavern just up the road."

"We could not believe how spacious and luxurious the beach house was. We would not have ordinarily booked into something so sumptuous, but were offered a special rate due to it being a particularly quiet period, just before the school holidays. The suite was beautifully appointed, and we even had our own plunge pool! Pity it was too cold to use it. Donna at reception was very friendly and knowledgeable about the local 'must do's'."

"Stopped here for a night on our way further north. Nice clean room. Kettle fridge and toaster available with necessary dishes to make a light breakfast. Check in was easy. Lovely supper at the restaurant attached, Drift and Wood. Excellent pasta, pulled pork burrito bowl, fish tacos....all yummy. Good service. Nice options to eat inside or out."

"The staff were very helpful and we managed to upgrade our room for a reasonable price. We were shown around the various rooms available. Ours was lovely and spacious decorated to a high standard. Would recommend this hotel and return again."

"First time and it was a great stay. Just a magical spot in such a lovely town. Walking distance to everything. From our beach house we could here the sounds and waves from the beach.The staff were very accommodating and nothing was a problem. Very clean overall resort and friendly ladies who cleaned our rooms. The grounds were immaculate. Very peaceful place to relax and take in this amazing town. Loved everything about this beach house."
